starline rifle brass for sale. starline rifle brass prides itself on producing the highest quality brass case available. Their brass is comprised of 70% copper and 30% zinc and is vertically drawn during the manufacturing process which results in more uniform wall thickness. Cases are annealed between each draw to ensure consistent metallurgy in all lots. Each Starline 45-70 Government brass case is hand inspected to guarantee the highest quality possible.
Generally speaking, Starline cases require no resizing prior to loading. Due to variances in diameter of different bullet types, it is a good practice to size the case only as far down as the bullet seating depth.
In the beginning, Starline only produced custom headstamps for companies like Remington, Winchester, and Federal. They also produced custom headstamps for Midway Arms, a gun and gun component distributer in Columbia, MO. Business really took off after Federal received a large contract from the FBI for 10mm brass.
New, unprimed brass. This is not loaded ammunition. Bulk brass should be full-length sized, trimmed and chamfered before loading.

Best practice to ensure a round case mouth, remember that all cases must be sized (or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through case neck) and deburred/chamfered prior to loading, as the case mouths may not be perfectly round due to manufacturing processes.
